Sports Day 2015

Hey Everyone! Today, I'm back with another blog post all about this years sports day and this post is FULL of photos! Enjoy :)

So, every year at my school we have a sports day like most schools do. As our school is a sports academy we have a full day full of sports. We have to pick two for a morning session and then we can pick to do track events in the afternoon.

The hole school is involved with sports day and it happens every year in June or July. In our school we are separated in to four different house teams with colours: Arwenack (green), Killigrew (blue), Gluvias (purple) and Pendennis (yellow),  I'm in Arwenack whooo!

During the day all the house teams are all competing against each other and its really fun. We get a choice out of loads of different sports to do in the morning such as football, tag rugby, dodge ball, netball, rounders, trampolining, badminton and many more. There is also the option of doing OAA which is like team building and team work, skateboarding and street dance. These take up the whole morning.

In the afternoon after lunch, the whole school goes down to the school field and we are separated into dens in our house teams and we have load music on and we watch the track events. This year there were soooo many people racing and I'm really proud of everyone. People who were injured ran and people who got injured during their races ran and that made me proud!
Since Septemember the house teams have been collecting house points by doing good work and from through out the day and at the end of sports day they added up all the points and they anounced a winner. Out of the four years I've been at my school, Gluvias or Pendennis have won sports day and my house (Arwenack) have come last or third! But... this year Gluvias came last, Killigrew third, Pendennis second and ARWENACK FIRST!!!!! YESSSSS! So happy that we won on our last sports day!

I got asked to be the photographer for the school in the afternoon and I photographed the track events so I'm now going to show you my favouirte images and selfies from my last ever sports day! Sad times, but what a great day!

A new favourite place

Hello my lovelies! I am alive don't worry, I have been doing exams and been very busy with school for the past few months! But anyway I'm back! :)
So today's post is all about a little place in Cornwall called St Mawes. I went to St Mawes went I was about 10/11 with school for a camp and I couldn't really remember St Mawes that well. Me and my family went there for a day trip and oh my days I have fallen in love with it! So today's post is going to be all about our little day trip and I'll be sharing all of my photos from the day as it was SO beautiful! Enjoy :)

Okay so me and my family took a ferry across to St Mawes which was so beautiful and the weather was beautiful and so sunny which made the ferry trip even better!
St Mawes isn't that big really but it is so beautiful! There are some touristy shops and loads of restaurants and pubs and there is a FatFace so that's pretty cool! At the moment I have had an obsession with wanting to go to Greece and from going to St Mawes when the sun was shining St Mawes is my Cornwall version of Greece! It literally looked like Greece or somewhere abroad because the houses where white or they were colourful and the sea was crystal clear and all the flowers had blossomed and it just amazes me!

We went for some lunch at a hotel called Tresanton and we had cocktails and sat outside looking at the beautiful sea! This hotel was so so beautiful and reminded me of Greece! If you live in Cornwall or come down to Cornwall on holiday you have have have to go to St Mawes and go to this hotel it's just so magical!

So overall, I am obsessed with St Mawes everyone should just go there and you'll understand how magical it is!!! Here's some more photos from our little day trip :)

Work Experience Week.

The week of the 23rd of March-27th of March I had work experience week! I went with my mum for the week as when I'm older I want to go into photography and film. I had an amazing week with her and today's blog post is going to be about each day of that week and some of my favourite images from what I got up to!

Day 1- On the Monday, I created a mood board for the Tuesday as I was doing a spring shoot with model Crystal Lily. I made a board on Pinterest for her to be able to see what I had in mind for the shoot.

Day 2- On the Tuesday, I did my first ever shoot and I REALLY enjoyed it! I photographed Crystal in five very different outfits and I am pleased with how images turned out. Here are some of my favourite shots.

Day 3- On the Wednesday, I learnt all the tips and tricks of photoshop and how to edit my images and spent the whole day editing and listening to music.

Day 4- On the Thursday, I went to Gyllngvase Beach in Falmouth to film Crystal again and model Tommy John Stewart. The film will be up on YouTube very soon. I also photographed them both in their casual beach outfits and I also photographed Crystal in a swimsuit that was sent to her for me to photograph from Paris! Here is some of my favourite images.

Day 5- On the last day, Friday, I edited some of the film and edited all of the images.

I really enjoyed my week of work experience working with my Mum! Thank you Mum <3 :)
