Sports Day 2015

Hey Everyone! Today, I'm back with another blog post all about this years sports day and this post is FULL of photos! Enjoy :)

So, every year at my school we have a sports day like most schools do. As our school is a sports academy we have a full day full of sports. We have to pick two for a morning session and then we can pick to do track events in the afternoon.

The hole school is involved with sports day and it happens every year in June or July. In our school we are separated in to four different house teams with colours: Arwenack (green), Killigrew (blue), Gluvias (purple) and Pendennis (yellow),  I'm in Arwenack whooo!

During the day all the house teams are all competing against each other and its really fun. We get a choice out of loads of different sports to do in the morning such as football, tag rugby, dodge ball, netball, rounders, trampolining, badminton and many more. There is also the option of doing OAA which is like team building and team work, skateboarding and street dance. These take up the whole morning.

In the afternoon after lunch, the whole school goes down to the school field and we are separated into dens in our house teams and we have load music on and we watch the track events. This year there were soooo many people racing and I'm really proud of everyone. People who were injured ran and people who got injured during their races ran and that made me proud!
Since Septemember the house teams have been collecting house points by doing good work and from through out the day and at the end of sports day they added up all the points and they anounced a winner. Out of the four years I've been at my school, Gluvias or Pendennis have won sports day and my house (Arwenack) have come last or third! But... this year Gluvias came last, Killigrew third, Pendennis second and ARWENACK FIRST!!!!! YESSSSS! So happy that we won on our last sports day!

I got asked to be the photographer for the school in the afternoon and I photographed the track events so I'm now going to show you my favouirte images and selfies from my last ever sports day! Sad times, but what a great day!

Comfortable Longboarding Outfit.

Hey Everyone! Today's blog post is an outfit blog post photographed by my brother Harry! Enjoy :)

So today, me and Harry finally went skating after not skating for a couple of weeks. It felt so good to be back on my longboard. The sun was shining and there were hardly any cars around so today was perfect condition for skating.

Lets start with the makeup. I chose to do my makeup using a khaki coloured eyeshadow and eyeliner to outline my eyes to show of the shape. My eyeshadow is by Loreal and my eyeliner is by Rimmel. Then for my lips I wanted a natural colour so I just put a coat of lip gloss from yet again Loreal.

Moving on to my actual outfit. My top is from Topshop and its made with cotton so it is super soft and feels nice against your skin. I got this top two sizes bigger than I would normally get so its nice and baggy and long so I can wear leggings with it on a comfy, lazy day. I love this top and have worn it a lot. It gives you a nice shape and shows of your body shape nicely. What I also like about this top is that it doesn't show off your tummy so if your having a day were your tummy is bloated then no one will notice that when you wear this top. I acsserized this top with a big beachy shell necklace that I got from a crystal shop in St Ives.

I paired my top with a pair of khaki soft skinny fit jeans from Next. These jeans are again made out of cotton and these are my favourite pair of jeans as they are so comfortable and like I said when your feeling bloated these jeans are super stretchy so there won't be too tight which is so good! They are so comfortable and you can climb over things and stretch and all sorts in these so that is amazing.

Finally shoes are from Vans and I think that any type of Vans shoes are great the skate in because they give you great grip.

Here's some of the other shots we took :)

Snow Day In Cornwall.

It has finally for the first time in about three years snowed in Cornwall. It first started snowing on the 2nd of February whilst my brother and I where walking down to be collected after finishing school. It snowed until we arrived home and everywhere was white. It was so beautiful!

Over night it snowed a lot over where I live and made all the roads icy and we had to stay home.We spent the whole day photography and playing with our Labrador Maggie in the snow.
Here's the photos that we captured:

52 Week Photo Challenge.

It's now the end of the first month of the year and it gives me the chance to tell you about the photo challenge that I'm doing for this year! This month has gone so fast! It's seem like only yesterday it was New Year's Eve and we were all celebrating the great 2014 that we had.

Now, let me tell you about the 52 week photo challenge. At the end of each month I am going to be picking 4-5 of my favourite photos of the month and write about why I chose them and I will talk about each one.

So my first picture of the month is... A photo of myself and my two best girl mates. I chose this photo because that week the photo was taking was after the Christmas Holidays and I hadn't seen my friend Megan for 3 weeks and I miss both of the girls a lot. So this is my first week of January photo.

My second favourite photo of the month is a photo of my new kitten Kevin. My cat Arthur sadly died before Christmas and I was really upset so my mum bought me and my brother a kitten each. Harry's is called Vera and mine is called Kevin. They're about 12 weeks old now and I love them so here is a photo of Kevin.

My next favourite image was in the 3rd week of January and it was the private view of my mums enchantment project! I picked this image because I'm so pleased I got to be part of this amazing project and I'm so proud of my mum for this!

My last favourite image is yet again from enchantment but this time it's from the auction. Mum raised over £1400 for Cancer research and I cannot tell you how proud I am! This night was amazing and one of my mums models (Roland) dressed up as maleficent. Maleficent if my favourite film at the moment so I was like wow! Here's my last favourite picture of myself, maleficent and my baby cousin Elsie.

Enchantment Show!

Hey Everyone! Last Friday it was the opening show for my Mums disney princess project called Enchantment. The show is at Beside the Wave gallery in Falmouth, Cornwall. If your reading this and you don't live in Cornwall and can't go see the show then you must go to http://www.beside-the-wave.co.uk/ and check out the images of the show.

The show began on Friday the 15th of January opening with the private view which was amazing and filled with happy smiley people. I got to do my first job of photography, photographing the show for three local newspapers capturing all the people who came and all the happiness. So many people came and it was a wonderful event.
Here's some of the photos from the private view:
Myself with my print.
Models for Anna and Elsa with their prints.
Sleeping Beauty with her print.
Pocahontas with her print.
Tinker Bell and mum with her print.
Packed gallery.
Mulan and mum with her print.
Rapunzel and her boyfriend with her print.
Princess Belle and Beast with their print.
The Enchantment show like I said in my previous blog about Enchantment the project is for Cancer Research and I feel so proud to have been involved with this being Princess Belle and assisting my amazing Mum with the shoots. I am of course super proud of my Mum she is truly an inspiring amazing human!
Most of the props made were made by Mary Griffin who is my Nanny. These props that she had made for the princess and the shoots are the best piece of art I have seen her do. They are amazing! If you'd like to see them go to http://www.beside-the-wave.co.uk/ and you can view them and even buy them if you like them.
Olaf from Frozen made by Mary Griffin.

The show will be ending on the 31st of January, closing with a live auction so if your in Cornwall and you like the prints and props then come along its going to be amazing and you can raise some money for Cancer research.
