Work Experience Week.

The week of the 23rd of March-27th of March I had work experience week! I went with my mum for the week as when I'm older I want to go into photography and film. I had an amazing week with her and today's blog post is going to be about each day of that week and some of my favourite images from what I got up to!

Day 1- On the Monday, I created a mood board for the Tuesday as I was doing a spring shoot with model Crystal Lily. I made a board on Pinterest for her to be able to see what I had in mind for the shoot.

Day 2- On the Tuesday, I did my first ever shoot and I REALLY enjoyed it! I photographed Crystal in five very different outfits and I am pleased with how images turned out. Here are some of my favourite shots.

Day 3- On the Wednesday, I learnt all the tips and tricks of photoshop and how to edit my images and spent the whole day editing and listening to music.

Day 4- On the Thursday, I went to Gyllngvase Beach in Falmouth to film Crystal again and model Tommy John Stewart. The film will be up on YouTube very soon. I also photographed them both in their casual beach outfits and I also photographed Crystal in a swimsuit that was sent to her for me to photograph from Paris! Here is some of my favourite images.

Day 5- On the last day, Friday, I edited some of the film and edited all of the images.

I really enjoyed my week of work experience working with my Mum! Thank you Mum <3 :)

Snow Day In Cornwall.

It has finally for the first time in about three years snowed in Cornwall. It first started snowing on the 2nd of February whilst my brother and I where walking down to be collected after finishing school. It snowed until we arrived home and everywhere was white. It was so beautiful!

Over night it snowed a lot over where I live and made all the roads icy and we had to stay home.We spent the whole day photography and playing with our Labrador Maggie in the snow.
Here's the photos that we captured:

Enchanment Project- Griffin Photography.

Hello Everyone! Today's blog post is about my beautiful Mum's Enchantment Project for Cancer Research and her business :)

My Mum is an amazing women and she is my inspiration. I am so proud of her and she means the world to me. She has been a photographer for about four years now and is now known as Griffin Photography. She has been published all over the world and has been published in many magazines and even on Vogue It! Her focus is bridal, fashion, editorial and many more.

This year she decided to do something for Cancer Research and she came up with the Enchantment Project. The Enchantment Project is a series of portraits of disney princesses that she has re-created. She has filmed every disney princess and there has been some INCREDIBLE props made my some amazing people. My Nanny has made the best props I have ever seen for The Enchantment Project and my Nanny is also the Fairy Godmother of the project which is going to be the trailer.
The Fairy Godmother.

There is going to be a final exhibition of the whole project that will be on in January at Beside The Wave Gallery in Falmouth, Cornwall, which I am super excited for! All the models are going to see their final print and there will be an auction selling all the prints of the princesses and the props. All of the money is going to go to Cancer Research.

I am so excited for the exhibition and I am super proud of my Mum and how much she has achieved with Griffin Photography. Please go like the Enchantment page and my Mum's business page. Also check out her website is incredible. Well Done Mum <3

This Years highlights.

I have had such a good year this year and thought I would share my highlights with my lovely viewers :)

My first highlight of this year was in Febuary, when I got asked to do some modelling as a bridesmaid for Holly Young Headwear. The shoot was at Pendennis Castle, Cornwall and there was three models including me. We had our hair and makeup done in a vintage style and we had do model Holly Young's head pieces and dresses from the Bridal House. It was a really fun day and I adored my hair and makeup. This is a bit gross but I slept with my makeup on and kept my hair to show my friends in school the next day.
Here are some of my favourite images from the shoot:
My next highlight was in March I had my dipdye re-dyed by the hairstylist who did my hair for the bridesmaid shoot. I then let her expirement different hair styles on my hair because my hair was her favourite to work on. This day was really fun and we went down to the lake where I live and took some shots there and then went to a daffodil field and mucked around in there and we got some amazing shots from it.

Between March and July I was having fun in school with my friends and enjoying the time before our GCSE's started. In July I had my year 9 Graduation which was really fun and we had photos and I got a gold and I was really proud of myself. I then got a puppy called Rupert who is a chorkie and he is adorable. Then it got to the end of year 9 and we celebrate down at the beach with all my friends and was a super fun afternoon.

By now it was my summer holidays and I have some amazing memories from it, but one of my favourites is when I got to be Princess Belle from Beauty and the Beast for the Enchantment Project that my Mum is doing at Beside the Wave gallery in January. The project is a series of portraits of all the disney princesses all modelled by different models. The project is for Cancer Research and all the money that is raised will go straight to Cancer Research. Being Belle was amazing because she is my favourite princess and Beauty and the Beast is my favourite disney film. Again I kept my hair when I went to bed but I was made by my mum to take the make up of, but the next day I re-created the makeup.
Here's me being a Disney Princess :)

My favourite summer holidays highlight was when I went camping for the weekend with my family. We had the best time and there wasn't any WiFi which sucked but it was actually really nice spending quality time making memories with my amazing family.
At the end of the summer holiday's it was my brothers birthday and we went to Maenporth Beach where we had spent most of our time during the summer and we had a BBQ and watched dolphins and jumped of rocks and it was a great way to end the summer.
After the summer holiday's I haven't really had any highlights because I've been at school preparing for GCSE's and exams and everything. But my last highlight of this year is my Aunty and Uncles Wedding that happened in October in half term. After being engaged for 8-9 years they finally got married and it was a beautiful wedding. My aunty look beautiful and so did my uncle and the wedding is going to be a good memory of mine forever.

Of course I have had some bad highlights of this year but they are in the past and forgotten. Thank you to everyone that has made this year amazing. Role on 2015!!!
