Work Experience Week.

The week of the 23rd of March-27th of March I had work experience week! I went with my mum for the week as when I'm older I want to go into photography and film. I had an amazing week with her and today's blog post is going to be about each day of that week and some of my favourite images from what I got up to!

Day 1- On the Monday, I created a mood board for the Tuesday as I was doing a spring shoot with model Crystal Lily. I made a board on Pinterest for her to be able to see what I had in mind for the shoot.

Day 2- On the Tuesday, I did my first ever shoot and I REALLY enjoyed it! I photographed Crystal in five very different outfits and I am pleased with how images turned out. Here are some of my favourite shots.

Day 3- On the Wednesday, I learnt all the tips and tricks of photoshop and how to edit my images and spent the whole day editing and listening to music.

Day 4- On the Thursday, I went to Gyllngvase Beach in Falmouth to film Crystal again and model Tommy John Stewart. The film will be up on YouTube very soon. I also photographed them both in their casual beach outfits and I also photographed Crystal in a swimsuit that was sent to her for me to photograph from Paris! Here is some of my favourite images.

Day 5- On the last day, Friday, I edited some of the film and edited all of the images.

I really enjoyed my week of work experience working with my Mum! Thank you Mum <3 :)

Cucumber Water.

Hey everyone! I apologise for the lack of posts recently I've just finished my exams!
Today's blog post is all about cucumber water. I have been drinking cucumber water in school for the past month and I have had so many questions and people being like "ew it's so gross". So I decided to write about it today as it's super healthy and I love it.

During the February half term I was revising for my exams and when your revising you need to stay hydrated and I realised that I don't drink enough water as I should. I saw on some social media sites that people where drinking cucumber in water. I have always loved cucumbers so I decided to try it and now I am obsessed with it. I drink it in school, at home, before bed, in the morning sigh breakfast.

So because everyone in school was like ew it's so disgusting I thought I should tell you how good it actually is for you.

Why is it good?

1. It's good for your muscles: Cucumber contains silica which is a mineral. This mineral keeps the connective tissues in your body healthy. So when your working out its a good idea to drink cucumber.

2. It's great for your skin: The silica and antioxidants help your skin to stay clear and supple.
Secret tip for you guys: you can remove soaked cucumbers from cucumber water and use them to reduce acne redness. Or you can wash your face using cucumber water to help acne.

3. It's low calories: A cucumber only has 45 calories.

4. Makes you drink more water: It does this because water can taste boring sometimes and adding cucumber will flavour your water.

5. Making it is easy, all you have to do is this...

Grab a cucumber and cut it up so its in circles and then divide it in to fours.

Add your sliced cucumber to a cup, glass or bottle and put some cold water into your cup and the drink away.

52 photo week challenge- February

Hey everyone! Just want to apologise about the lack of post and upcoming posts I'm doing my exams in school now so spending my time revising.

Anyway the second month of the year has gone all ready! What the hell? Where did it go? It's not March and it feels like we've ony just had Christmas! So here is this months photos that I have selected from each week of February.
Week one: On the 3rd of February it actually snowed in cornwall which happens rarely. This meant that i had the day of school because I couldn't get in and I enjoyed all the snow until it melted at the end of the day. It was some of my dogs first times seeing snow and watching them tearing around our back garden made me so happy :)
Week two: At the beginning of the February half term I assisted my Mum to the Bridal House Catwalk show where my favourite models modelled the most beautiful wedding dresses and suits ever! It was such a great expirence and I got to film the show! The first photo is of the model Harriet Dawson and she is beautiful who modelled gorgeous dresses! And the second image is of myself and the lovely Tommy who wore suits from Moss Bros and rocked it!
Week Three: After a quick week off full of revising for my exams it was so nice to see my girls Megan and Taylor again! They make everyday enjoyable for me at school.
Week four: My last image of the month is myself with a grey wig on holding a raw egg! I know your probably thinking I'm crazy but this was all for my Mum's Easter image for her photography business. I love doing shoots with my mum yes they are wacky but they are amazing :)

Comfortable Longboarding Outfit.

Hey Everyone! Today's blog post is an outfit blog post photographed by my brother Harry! Enjoy :)

So today, me and Harry finally went skating after not skating for a couple of weeks. It felt so good to be back on my longboard. The sun was shining and there were hardly any cars around so today was perfect condition for skating.

Lets start with the makeup. I chose to do my makeup using a khaki coloured eyeshadow and eyeliner to outline my eyes to show of the shape. My eyeshadow is by Loreal and my eyeliner is by Rimmel. Then for my lips I wanted a natural colour so I just put a coat of lip gloss from yet again Loreal.

Moving on to my actual outfit. My top is from Topshop and its made with cotton so it is super soft and feels nice against your skin. I got this top two sizes bigger than I would normally get so its nice and baggy and long so I can wear leggings with it on a comfy, lazy day. I love this top and have worn it a lot. It gives you a nice shape and shows of your body shape nicely. What I also like about this top is that it doesn't show off your tummy so if your having a day were your tummy is bloated then no one will notice that when you wear this top. I acsserized this top with a big beachy shell necklace that I got from a crystal shop in St Ives.

I paired my top with a pair of khaki soft skinny fit jeans from Next. These jeans are again made out of cotton and these are my favourite pair of jeans as they are so comfortable and like I said when your feeling bloated these jeans are super stretchy so there won't be too tight which is so good! They are so comfortable and you can climb over things and stretch and all sorts in these so that is amazing.

Finally shoes are from Vans and I think that any type of Vans shoes are great the skate in because they give you great grip.

Here's some of the other shots we took :)
